Whether we’re paying attention or not, our physical resources fluctuate as regularly as do our financial resources. And as in financial accounting, health accounting involves income and expenses. If income exceeds expenses, you enjoy higher levels of relative health. The converse is also true-when expenses exceed income, health deteriorates.
What kinds of things can go into our health accounts? We can easily list the most crucial of these-food, exercise and rest. But we’re not interested in quantity. We’re much more interested in quality. We’re interested in maximizing value. For example, focusing on quantity with respect to food causes a person to become overweight. Focusing on quality -high -quality protein and high quality complex carbohydrates, with plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables-causes a person to become leaner and fitter. We don’t want to fill our health accounts with coins made of lead and copper. We want to fill them with coins made of gold.

As a chiropractor here in Riverside, I am very concerned with the health of the individual, because the health of the individual will determine the health of the family which will ultimately determine the health of our community here in Riverside. I want to see the health of Riverside increase dramatically (and that is what I am passionate about).
Everyone wants to grow their bank account. We know our financial health is usually estimated by the level of our resources. The more money in the bank, figuratively speaking, the more secure we feel. If our resources include stocks, bonds, and property, we are even more secure.
We can use such fiscal accounting as a metaphor for our physical health and well-being. The more resources we can accumulate in our “health account” the healthier we’ll be. And if we’re able to diversify the “holdings” in our health accounts, as we’d like to be doing with our financial accounts, we’ll enjoy more and better long-term health from many points of view.
Stay tuned here at Chiropractor Riverside Infinite Wellness Center to here more on this topic.

From Riverside California- Mom was right after all-we need to eat our vegetables, and lots of them, if we want to protect ourselves against cancer.
According to a wave of studies, scientists have found compelling and consistent data associating diets rich in vegetables and fruits with a lower risk of cancer. With 1.2 million Americans diagnosed with cancer each year, this is good news. We as a society are plagued with more toxins in our environment than ever before in history. This is particularly true for us, Riverside residents, as we have very polluted air and water.

A Riverside chiropractor found that studies show that older patients who receive chiropractic adjustments require less hospital visits, nursing home stays and prescription drugs.
96 percent of the chiropractic-using seniors studied reported they had never used nursing home services. 81 percent of seniors who did not use chiropractic care didn’t need a nursing home. The whole picture shows that seniors partaking in regular chiropractic adjustments were at least 15 percent less likely to need a nursing home than seniors who did not recieve chiropractic treatment.

If you experience neck pain don’t reach for acetominophen, make a chiropractic appointment.
In a six-week study, a group of patients suffering from chronic neck pain were treated with acetaminophen-the compound in Tylenol-while another group of neck-pain sufferers were given chiropractic adjustments. Patients receiving chiropractic adjustments reported less neck pain and an increase in range of neck motion, strength and functional capacity, when compared to the patients who did not receive chiropractic adjustments.

Through my clinical experience here in Riverside, California I have found the nutrients within foods work synergistically to provide the body the tools it needs to maintain optimal health. As a nation, we eat foods that have been stripped of their nutrients. We do not eat enough fresh produce, whole grains, and quality protein.

Ken, one of the members at the Infinite Wellness Center states: “I was experiencing extreme lower back pain. My medical Dr. offered pain killers to relax the muscles. Dr. Ries took X-rays and proposed a treatment, which I am now undergoing. I am completing my 18th visit and my back pains are gone. I am able to get out of bed without help and move about without back pain.”
We are so proud of Ken. Keep up the good work.
